This is the most up to date version including the version 4 clutch/gear system for the utmost reliability and power capability! If you know anything about electric hub motors, BMC motors were by far the best (but a lot more expensive). You cannot find a such a light weight motor capable of delivering the power of these little BMC motors. These V4 motors set the standard for high performance as they were capable of reaching over 40mph with their upgraded clutch system and gears on 72V. WThe nice thing about these motors is they completely freewheel so there is little to no drag unlike many other motors.
